Default Does anybody have this book?

I've seen this book titled Corvette Performance Projects: 1968 - 1982 (Motorbooks Workshop)
by Tom Benford.
Does anybody have it?
Is it worth having or does it make better toilet paper?
Thanks

Sorry, I don't have that one so I'll be stopping by Borders Books to see if I can find a copy to add to my collection.

I have it. It is OK if someone is new to Vettes, but if you know your way around one, then I would wait until it gets to the bargain table.

They have some good ideas in there, but I would not go fight traffic to find one.

The best article in there shows how to replace the front clip. Not as detailed as you might think, but give the general idea of how to do it.

i have looked at it extensively.... they consider changing your oil a performance project....as well as other routine maintenance issues.... unless this is the first car you have worked on i would find a different one.... its really geared to the novice backyard mechanic....the name is definitely over promoting it....definitely page through it before buying it....not one to buy through the mail....

edit : found my favorite book "how to restore & modify your corvette1968-82" by richard newton, ecklers # 31950 $24.99 this is filled with performance upgrades and it is by far my favorite reference...

It's a good book if you receive it as a gift. I wouldn't recommend buying it, unless you find it on the discount table or absolutely want to own every C3 book there is.

You can find better tech articles on-line for free.

This is one of the better resto books you can get!!!

I refer to it all of the time while working on my project.
