I have my car on jack stands to replace the short shafts. I also at this time rebuilt the frt hubs since the rears are all new. Car has been on stands for about 2 weeks and I was tinkering around and discovered I have now power. I have 13.XX volts at the battery and the same at the starter. Any ideas at what to look at?

Typical and standard for the firewall connections to be weak. Look under your steering column on the engine side and find the big red wire. Move it around a little and see if'n it turns everything back on. I finally just hard wired mine and it's been fine for years now.

I agree....when you turn the ignition on to the crank position what voltage does it read at the solenoid? i would think if it reads nothing the problem is in between the positive battery cable on the starter and the fuse box or ignition switch.
