As I have described in prior posts, I just got a new '80 L-82. Great exterior, nice engine, some interior issues.
The interior leather portion of the driver's side t-top is hanging down from the side near the window. It appears there are some type of u-shaped metal brackets that were once glued in place.
Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do?
I gave up trying to fix these brackets - I removed them and glued the T-top headliner on the T-top with 'liquid nails'. it appears to be a very permanent fix, I don't think they can be non-destructivly removed anymore.... but why would I remove them ? BTW, I don't have glass T-tops... just in case somebody is wondering....
