As I was going through the latest issue of Corvette & Chevy Trader I came across an ad for TriStar Engines. I checked the web site they are in Wiscoson or Minnisota. They are advertising a 350/350 crate engine with 4 blt mains, Dart or World heads, Pan & cover, Balancer, 1.60 & 2.02 Stainless valves, Hyperutechic pistons. All for $1950.00 no core. Has anyone had any dealings or heard anything about them? Can I use an my Edlebrock Performer intake with these heads and which heads are the best. This motor is for my 81' w/ auto. If legit, it sounds like a pretty good buy.
Tri Star Engine is out of Baldwin WI. Their web site is http://www.tristarengine.com/ . They are a very reputable engine supplier and make a very good race engine also. Both the Dart and the World heads are equal in performance. Your performer intake will fit either head.
I Have a TriStar auto trans in my77 c3, for some reason the manual was taken out and swapped for an auto, dont know if these transmitions were any good.
