What is the best type of fastener to connect my throttle cable to my carb?

i seem to recall you also have a speed demon.. right? Edelbrock makes a throttle stud with a "cotter pin" for retaining the cable that fits in the linkage hole for about $5 from a local speed shop, thats what i'm using.

If your junkyard has any late 70s cars you can find some GM with removable cable studs. Probably easiest to just buy a new one though.

Why did you choose the one at the speed shop over the one from Scoggin Dickey?

Also, will H20-40 work for my TH350?
