There are no decent reproductions that have the correct thickness. If you get dinged for it and end up short, you might loose the "Top Flight" status you need if you are in a NCRS judging competition.
I think the reproduction is the BETTER of the two! I figure the thicker material makes for more threads at the least and less likely to cross thread maybe.

Hi Eddie, whenever I get a whiff of that stuff I look around for a slim, young hippy-chick with long flowing locks, a hippy skirt (one of those colored Indian things that always went transparent when there was a Disco light behind it) & smouldering eyes.
