Remove Vent *****
I have a 1976, automatic and no air conditioning. In the area of the automatic transmission shifter are two black plastic ***** that say "CLOSE" on them that are used to open and close the air vents. I am trying to remove those ***** and not having enough luck. I see a little hole at the bottom of the **** and have tried inserting a small pin in that hole to try and get a release to no avail. Any suggestions or tips on getting these puppies off?
