I want to get one of those computer engine dyno programs for Christmas, and was wondering if VirtualEngine was better than DesktopDyno? Anybody try both? Am I right that VE has a 2004 version, and DD is from 2000? Thanks, Joe
Engine Analyser is the best one to get. I have DD2K and it is fun to play with but if you want a better mousetrap, get EA. It has MUCH more functionality and precision. Check out the downloadable free trial version for more details. "Performance Trends" is the vendor.

I have Dynosim. Just got it. Have read about it in several of the hotrod rags. They say it's pretty good. I did some initial sensitivity analysis on some of my components and got a suprising result. Once I have played with it some more I will report what I find.
Well, I guess for $109 vs. $39 you get what you pay for. It seems like most people have DD2000 to play with, but maybe Virtual Engine is a better toy for $40? Here is the link to VE: Joe
