19 here, my 80 has been a slow project, the key is to get it roadworthy and work from there, the joy of driving it will motivate you, is that an mr2 in your garage? my friend has a 91 mr2 running 13.0
Welcome and nice car! You missed the current CA smog exemption by one model year, but I suspect that this may end up rolled back so you might be better off this way.
Have you passed smog yet? if so, you've got many decisions to make, not the least of which is to keep it smog legal or pull off the pump. If you do the latter, you'll gain some cheep power, but you'll have to sell it (probably) in two years when it comes up for renewal.
Other than the above, I'd work on making it pretty inside and out first and worry about the power second. Enjoy the car.
I like it! A quick look says that you will want to adjust the passenger-side headlight assembly to go up up flush with the nose - seems a bit low. Also, be sure you have the proper fan and clutch to go back in when do the shroud work. This will all be good when you get around to putting the factory a/c back in... If that front bumper cover is rotted, just replace it with flexible fiberglass one - I like mine. Enjoy!
O trust me I do. It has passed smog here in California, so that is over with. It really sucs that i missed the smog by one year, so close. I was actually looking at a 75 before I settled on the 76 that I have now.
