A friend of my fathers took these pics in the the early 1970's
The guy's in the C2 section were kind enough to dig through their 35 year old magazines and Find some of Mr. Wheaton's work as a Christmas present to my father!!!

I have that issue ... and read that article ... that car was a ranch car ... used it as a pickup truck

For some reason these pics remind me of the old movie, Billy Jack. In it, there was an orange vette that the rich kid had at the "lake" scene, kind of in the same backcountry type setting.
