i'm 19 and bought my first vette 6 months ago. it's a maroon '74 coupe with a 350 small block. it needs a lot of work...mainly cosmetic, but it has some frame rust issues too - not sure how extensive. anyway, i'm going to be dissembling it, cleaning, and rebuilding (over a long period of time i'm sure...$$$), and my first question is thus....when i bought the car it had a set of chrome hooker performance side pipes. i tried to get one of the tubes off, but it wouldn't budge. does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove something like this? there is some corrosion between the pieces and it's just a ridiculously tight fit. thanks!

Try to spray some WD40 or Silicone Spray in there and wait a few hours and try again...
