I've read somewhere on the web that the fuel line on my C3 should be larger diameter if I go to fuel injection. After my frame off is complete () I would like to possibly go to fuel injection, but do I replace the fuel lines now with original size or go to a larger custom fuel line just in case?
I am running 3/8" aluminum line from the rear to the front with 60 psi fuel pressure for an engine making 350 Hp. I think that is the same size as the stock size.
Only advantage in going to larger tubing would be in less of a pressure drop.
Example- at 20 feet per second in a 3/8 line compared to a 1/2" line the pressure drop difference would only be 1.20 psi per foot of tubing.
