We have friends staying over this week from Annapolis Maryland and knowing I'm into cars they brought me a white die cast metal 68 BB convertible. Very pretty and well detailed. What kills me is the toy manufacturer were detailed enough to mold the chrome A/C ***** into the little dash but not detail oriented enough to catch
CORETTE written on the back end of the car.
It is sad some of the detail made and others left out.
I bought a 1/24 scale 1978 Pace Car. The hood and doors open/wheels turn along with the steering wheel. good detail on the dash.
BUT! no spoiler on the Pace Car.

I have a 1/24 rear Pace Car spoiler in black if you need the back one.
Also some unused 1/24 Pace Car decals available to anyone that needs them.
If the rights for reproduction was not purchase or licensed by GM then they would have a trademark problem. So it would not be uncommon to have it spelt incorrect. I think.
"""the toy manufacturer were detailed enough to mold the chrome A/C ***** into the little dash"""
The A/C ***** were there whether it was an A/C car or not. Does it have the horizontal chrome vent below the wiper switch instead of the trim piece that said "C-o-r-v-e-t-t-e"??? Does it have an A/C compressor???
