I'm sure it's been asked over and over but here goes again.
What is the widest tire that will fit on an '81 with stock aluminum wheels and stock suspension?
What is the largest that will fit the same car using 17" wheels?
I couldn't find a clear answer by using the search function.

I'm not familiar w/ the sizes mentioned above, however these sizes come dimensionally close to being dead on and offer true performance tire options:
P225 55
P245 50
P235 50
P235 50
