Raised Letter Restoration
The raised white letters are badly faded on my B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's. They are beyond using Westley's Bleach White. Is there a paint I can use or a white marker? Perhaps White Out? What will last and stay white? Thanks in advance.

Good question. Lvrpool had a set of 17 inch tires on his car that had the letters painted white. Maybe he will chime in on the paint he used.

Really fine steel wool works good, like 000 grade or whatever the real fine stuff is

I bought lvrpool32s wheels and tires. Here is a quote from another post on the white letters.
Gordon bought my TTII's off of me and I let him try them with the tires to check for clearance issues.
A company called Moose make a great white tire pen, takes two coats....sticks really well as long as you clean properly (I used simple green).
Just takes a little time and a little patience.
Heres a close up on my buddys GTO

try powder Comet cleanser with a STIFF brush. Wet the tire first...You'll be surprised after a good hard scrub over the letters and a quick rinse

I have a friend that builds hot rods and he swears by Lacquer thinner to whiten the raised white letters

Sanding works great as long as the letters are still there. I wouldn't recommend sanding everytime you wash the car, but once or twice a year should be fine.
