Now I guess I should ask if anyone here has installed said kit. Does it "bolt on" like it says? And is it a drastic improvement over the leaky, drippy, cumbersome steering rams of yesteryear?
Do a search on these pages - many posts on steeroids. I think it is a hit, but a bit of work to install - check for issues separating steering column from rag joint, etc as I recall... If I needed a bunch of stuff (like a new steering box) I would consider chucking it all and going with steeroids.
The steeroids kit is a bolt on kit and is said to take on average 3 hours to install. We are selling the complete kit for $1139. We have heard nothing but great things about the kit.

I have one in my 1979... went in like a charm.... only thing is its kinda low, so with the one inch lowering of my 79 due to the 550 lb coil springs i hope to god i dont hit a bump and rip her off. As to performance. I cant let ya know.. My car is still missing something.... nothing overly important... just the suspension, and the engine, and the transmission, and the interior, and the breaks..... well, i have all of the suspension and engine parts, and breaks... they are just in boxes.... heheh.

Those are not lowering springs, yes they are shorter than stock but they do not lower the car, the height is made up in the thickness of the spring coils. Glad to hear that it went in smooth.
