I just replaced the T top weather strips and now the drivers window doesn't go up far enough at the front. I have been trying to adjust the window for a couple of hours. When I get the front where I want it, then to edge at the back hits the rear pillar. Every adjustment is a guess and it seems that I almost get it and then I close the door and I either have one condition or the other. *&^$# +&

I'm in the middle of doing this also. Big pain in the a$$. Does not want to line up at all. Just keep at it.

I am not sure if you are aware that that the T strips are also adjustable along the window side(the metal that the strips glue to are slotted). I struggled also until I found that out. The instuctions in the assembly manual are apparently the best way to go.

Sometimes ...if you have enough slop/play in the regulater it will cause the window to not "repeat"....like you're describing. With the new weatherstripping the window is basically taking the path of least resistance. One way to check is to roll the window down an inch or so from the top stops....then grab each upper corner of the window and try to "rock" it....(up/down...front/back). The more play it has..the harder it will be to get adjusted. You may just try to find a happy medium.....or replace the regulater if it's real bad.

Yeah... the T top is adjusted ok. The window is tilted front down slightly. The gap is about 1/8" at the front and up tight at the rear. I looked at the old T top seal. It was really compressed at the rear and it is appearent that the window was seating tighter at the rear. Now I've got to fix it or it will leak.

Larry, can you get the window to come up parallel to the top.then adjust the upper stop to fit proper?

just a thought
