Holy crap dude!!! That is BADASS!!! I have engine envy. Any HP and tq guestimates?? Did you have to use the crank trigger and does Whipple have the standard small block intake for that SC or is it custom? What Topline heads are those? I have the Topline 200's. I'd like to see your carb or fuel injection too.

Well, it's turning out to be somewhat of a torque monster. It's pushing 750lb-ft at 3200rpm, and nudged over 641hp at 5700. I'm going back to the dyno shop a few more times this week to try and smooth the fuel map and experiment with the builder on spark, fuel pressure, etc. Here are the last page of numbers from the latest pull...

The link above shows a snapshot of why I needed a crank trigger and I posted some specs about the heads (they are ProTopline - different than Topline, I believe). The intake came from Whipple. They have intakes for both regular and vortec heads.
That is totaly awesome. You've been working on that project for a little while now. It's great to see that it's running. It looks really cool and it's putting out pretty good numbers already. Good job!
May I ask how much you paid for the whipple SC? Their website is absolutly useless
They aren't inexpensive, but what is these days? You can get a feel for prices from http://www.superchargersonline.com/accessories.asp. I ran the cost way up due to fuel injection which required a throttle body and EFI system - another couple of grand...
Z-MAN. Well I think I nailed those figures pretty accurately. All that torque is a blast to drive, hooking it all up is where it really gets expensive. Some guys spend over 100thou on thier chassis to harness that kind of torque. mike

I know. My plan is to drive it and when parts bust, focus on beefing up that area. For now, my tires will act as a "pressure relief" mechanism...
Thats a great setup, what hood you gone to use?
It will probably depend on the final installed height. I'd like to use an L-88 hood, but may have to resort to one of those cowl hoods. Before installation, I have to relocate / rotate the alternator downward.

Should see about a straight shot exit housing for the intake to rad hose then mount the alt on the passenger side head, creative belt routing should not be a problem.
