Corvette Paperwork
Ok!
Now that we have the dealer invoice thing under control and we're pretty motivated I have another idea.
What do you say we help each other with some paperwork and documentation issues. I was thinking that it would be really nice if we could post some nice readable photographs of any paperwork etc. that relates to a specific year Corvette i.e. build sheets, tank stickers, dealer invoices, window stickers, owners manual pamphlets, visor sleeves, engine compartment stickers, pre-delivery inspection sheets, certificates of origin etc. etc. etc. If there is any information on a particular document you feel uncomfortable about someone seeing, simply cover it with a strip of paper.
I sincerely believe that this would be a huge help to others and we could even trade, sell or gift our extra stuff to each other. Please let me know what you all think.
I have extensive pic files on various paperwork for almost all Corvettes and would be very happy to post a pics (if someone will coach me how) of anything you request.
Feel free to start your post by either volunteering pics or by requesting pics
I would be happy to do such a thing but I don't have too much. Just an owners manual that can be bought for a few $ off Ebay. I wish I had all that other stuff.
I have quite a bit of documentation, ie: window sticker, tank sticker, dealer invoice, POP/warranty pamphlet, original title, but have no way of posting pics.
I would love to have some paperwork on my vette, but don't have any paper to distribute. I do however have gobs of web space that I could probably host pics on.
Would you guys be interested in sending it to me and letting me host it for everyone? I need to touch up my html skills, but if I have the space...why not?! Plus I would love to see what kind of '77 stuff you guys have.
you guys may have the ''dealer invoice thing under control'' but i dont! may i speak for other pre77 cars????---- i cannot get farther than faxing a note to the g.m. heritage center to request this information, from what i gathered ,theres nothing that can be done for us pre77 owners... so imawaiting the heritage center. any ony think of anything else?
Tell me guys, are the images I posted to big? Holy cow, they are bigger than in real life.
Platato, hows that for detail? Readable enough? I'll try to re-size and repost.
Paul, I contacted Ferris, the original dealer over the summer. They sent me two license plate frames and a key chain with their logo on them. I put them out when I show the car along with my delivery paperwork and dealer brochure stuff.
Well I've resized the images some and wanted to add this one.
We didn't discover this until several months after I had bought my car. Note the date on the build sheet...02-15 just under the VIN sequence. Now note the portion I inserted, this is the back of the title, 02/15/04...I bought this car 22 years to the day that it was built! Fate?
