Is this supposed to be the real stuff. I thought there was some kind of photo embargo until after the first of the year. I didn't read the entire thread but the pics do look good and so do the pics. Should be another exciting vette.
haha, none of the links on this thread work...haha..
I have seen the photos your refering to and I think it looks schweet. Hopefully it will further drive down the price on 405hp Z06, hell even the 385hp...I would looove to own either.
It's sweet. However, I say a regular '05 the other day at a local dealer. I don't like the shorter body style. I'm sure the new stance makes for tighter, more european-like handling, but I think it looks too short. Does that make sense? And, I still can't believe it doesdn't have retractable headlights. Isn't that what makes a Vette a Vette?

Personally, I like the fixed headlights. Dave Hill said they helped reduce the front end lift at high speeds. I've seen these cars on the road, gives the impression of a Viper from a distance. Besides, retracting headlights were not offered until 63.
I can't wait to see the new Z06 in person, it's gonna be a bad *** Corvette. I love it. Can't wait to see it on the track too. I know I'll be envious though.
Corvettes with fixed headlights are still Corvettes. They were fixed until the '63 came out, and now they're fixed again. Besides whenever you see a racing Vette with headlights, they are always fixed for lighter weight and better aero. Like mine!
