Default Whooooeeeee what a ride

Test drove the car today, open headers so I couldn't go far, I have shortie block huggers and didn't want to overheat the engine compartment. I put on the new stinger hood yesterday and it needs to be adjusted but looks even with black primer. Anyway I took it out and hit it about 3/4 throttle and man you better be holden on. This car scoots. I'm sure it'll run better once the exaust and side pipes are installed. That should be done tomorrow the tow truck is going to pick it up in the morning and bring it to the muffler shop. That is going to be it for a while. I'm broke, i'll paint the hood myself because my next outlay will be for a paint job. I'll post picks when I get it back from the muffler shop.

Glad to hear things worked out for you. Post some pics of the hood & pipes when finished. Are you going to open the hood up to fresh air?

I don't know do you think I would gain any benefits, and I don't like the idea of rain getting on my engine,or bugs etc.

Sounds good ICEMAN59 lets see some pic’s of that hood. I am thinking of adding a stingray hood scoop on my factory hood. Car looks good sounds like a fun ride to, I will be glad when mine is running again. I see you live in Louisiana over near New Orleans; I live in Sulphur near Lake Charles. I sent a few years in the residential A/C and automotive A/C fields.
