Default ebay center bolt valve covers

Anybody buy the aluminum center bolt valve covers from ebay?. I'm wondering how good they are for 60 - 75 dollars. If I get the tall ones, it looks like the stock a/c compressor brace will have to go. What can I replace it with?

I just bought some on Ebay they were really nice and yes cheap. But like anything you buy on Ebay you gotta be careful. Look at Jegs,Pace and Summit because sometimes those cheap prices on Ebay aren't so cheap when you add the shipping and the thought of not usually being able to return an item.

I didn't even realize there was a difference between my RamJet valve covers and the ones I bought. By the time I realized it I had fallen in love with my new ones because they looked so much better than the stock ones so I forked over the cash for the adapters. Expensive though

If you're using center bolt valve covers then you must have Vortec type heads. Therefore your intake manifold bolt arrangement won't allow you to use the stock a/c bracket. Or maybe you have a solution for this already.

Nice, cheap and NO LEAKS works for me. Did they work out ok though? I noticed that some of the sellers had less than ideal feedback. Can I ask who your seller was?

I just got the car a few months ago. ZZ4 heads, and there is a brace that looks stock which comes off the back of the ac compressor and bridges over the valve cover to one of the center intake manifold bolts.
