This seller has very good feedback from people who bought crankshafts and/or stroker kits.... I wonder if they left feedback before or after running the engine....

It seems very low priced..... maybe it's a good idea to email some guys who bought from them....

Good thought about checking with his customers. Looks like a very good price.

It is hard to believe that you can get a decent package for that price. I have heard that the sellers company is great with customer service though. Here is soem contact info for the company just incase you want to give a call or look around their site. This should be the info...

Seems to be good for the money. The only sight draw back is the choice of pistons, especially in the 383 unless you have 76cc heads or alum 64cc heads. The compression ratio is on the high side for pump gas. The cam/head selection will determine if these parts can be used. I do not think it takes a genius to pick out the appropiate parts but once you start buying parts you'll have to buy other parts to go along with the ones you own.

I already have 64cc heads - the lowest compression that they offer for a 383 is 10.9 - that seems to be pretty high for pump gas...

This would be a good choice for original heads...

you know i looked really hard at all of these E-bay deals and then went to local engine builders and asked about what they would charge to build a 383 and the discrepancy between the two was just so big, it made me nervous to do business through the mail... in the end i passed on the internet deals and went to a local engine builder to have one built for me....i guess if the ebay vendor was in my area i may have had a different thought.....
