hood latch adjustment
hello, is there an easy way to adjust the upper hood latches on my 74. right now they are close,but they do not release or latch as smoothly as i think they should.

Hi Robin,
It's an easy adjustment. I just recently replaced my entire hood release cable on my 69 Convertible and it was very easy! I'm glad I replaced it too, the original 35yr old cable broke in my hand as I was removing the locknut. After installing the new cable, it took me a few minutes and some adjusting of the factory brass locknut, but I soon got it working perfectly. There are also some adjustments on the hood itself, but mine needed no adustments there.
