Been told that if your balancer is slipping its best to get it replaced instead of just putting a cover over it.

Well,my balancer hasnt slipped, just wanted something with markers on it to aid when i adjust my timing. I have a pointer but with the "normal" balancer theres no way to set it properly without an adjustable light.
I`ve got an Fluidampr on the shelf but i`m unsure of the shape of it. But that would be the way to go..

Buffed,
Those covers are the bomb fo shizzle ma nizzle!

I liked those when they came out. Fantastic idea that works well and saves cabbage for other Bling-Bling!

That being said, I do not use them anymore Nothing wrong with them but I figured out how to degree a balancer using a cloth measuring tape and a sharpie marker. No need to buy anything anymore for me. Put a mark at 36 degrees, a mark at 52 degrees and maybe a few at every 90 degrees. Label them with the permanant marker and we are good to go.

If you like the pretty stuff, buy it. I usualy go for the black one with the white printing so it can be seen with the timing light easy but maybe a contrasting color works better for you. I still say these are one of the best add-ons out there.

" fo shizzle ma nizzle!" You guys crack me up.. I`m leaning towards a new damper or to use my Fluidampr that i`ve got, just need to change the hub and we`ll be good to go.
Thanks for your input in this matter

I've had one on my car for about 3 years and it works fine and makes ignition work a breeze.
