Finally got the cast off my leg after 2-1/2 months!
Man, my leg has really shrunk...yikes. Anyway, I'm still on crutches for another week or two...I start physical therapy in a week (3 x per week for 6 weeks). I should be back to 100% by next October
I tore my Achilles tendon playing basketball at the beginning of October and had to have it surgically reconstructed.
Hopefully I'll be able to press the clutch in and start the Vette pretty soon.

Yep, I made the mistake of going back to work a week after surgery (I had the surgery on a Monday and was back the following Monday). That was a big mistake...I was in LOTS of pain for the next couple of weeks. Plus, I was on high-potentcy Vicodin so I wasn't all "there," if you know what I mean. Anyway, knowing what I know now, I would take short term disability leave if something like this was to ever happen again (God, I hope not).
Hey feel for you man. I did the samething playing hockey in 1995. After trying to walk it off for a week, finally went to the doctor. I know, I know- Canadian health care covers everything, so why didn't I go sooner? I thought it was a bad sprain. It got worse so off to the hosipital one morning at 8:30 am and found myself in a hospital bed at 11 am and under the knife ( I snapped mine in half) at 1:00 pm. It feels as strong as my right leg now, however don't really care to go through that again. Take care buddy
