I have used Eastwood's "Factory Gray" on 2 cars and it is my preferred coating now. Looks awesome and seems to be durable when applied over a wire brushed and degreased manifold surface.

If you are having trouble with bubbling, try running the engine up to operating temp once after cleaning but before coating the manifolds. Maybe the heat from the engine will drive out the moisture left over from cleaning. Just a thought.
