Beat 03/04 Z06...
Well, i know it prob. doesn't mean that much to you all, and some may even ream me out for saying so, but i baet a beautiful 1-2 year old Z06 yesterday...and it felt great! It helps me rememebr what the $6,000 I spent on a new engine went towards. I was driving 55 (the speed limit) and I see in my rear view mirror a yellow Z06 weaving to get next to me. He smiled and gave me a thumbs up. At an upcoming light I yelled at him stating he had a very fast car, he replied "no crap"...slightly arrogant, but not too bad. I told him I wasn't running stock, and at the light we gunned it...damn, all the way throguh 2nd gear I had almost a car length lead...I braked becuase I was about to hit a van I was converging on, and he just sped off in the other lane, hehe...I was very surprised and happy...I think I got what I wanted out of my engine...anyways, I thought some of you racer guys would have liked to hear the story...

IBTL...I think the Z would have got you from a roll. From a dead stop, they have very bad traction issues. Also, watch the C-5's in Dallas, most are juiced or pressurized.

I've gotten my share. took one from a 10 mph roll on a "temporary drag strip" much similar to yours
I ended up pulling on him by about a car and a half.
and I've destroyed a couple of C6's

Did he know it was on?...shucks, he wanted it so bad I could taste it! Oh, and we were doing about a 5-10 mph roll when we gunned it, and 350 RWHP just wasn't enough...Dynoed mine and I'm pulling 440 at the rear...thank you

You would offically have the highest HP small block on the planet at 440 RWHP. Sorry but I'm going to have to call 
until you post it. If not I work in Fort Worth, so NR is on the way home. I'm ready for a ride in that beast.

I lost to a Z06 at an autocross last year by just under a second. He trailored his car with 4 slicks on it while I drove there and home on my street tires
