128 == 12th week of 1998
196 == 19th week of 1996
448 == 44th week of 1998
440 == 44th week of 2000
Does it make sense in regards to the tire's history ?

Thanks for the reply! I really don't know the history of the tires but did not think they made them as late as 2000, I could be wrong. Do any of the numbers mean anything? Anyone else have any ides? Thanks for all your help.
STW! Platato

P.S. I think the last two tires were originally purchased at the same time

Prior to 2000 they only used 3 digits and they only applied to a decade i.e.'90s, '80s, '70s etc. The first 2 digits represent the Week of Year # and the last digit represents the year.
Example: I just bought a '82 Collector Edition Corvette that has been in a garage for the last 27 yrs with only being driven 5,345 miles over that period.
The second owner that I bought it from, bought it in 1987, which the second set of tires had been put on and none since, until today. Given this history the tires were built in the '80s and the below codes indicate the following date info:
The code on the front tires was 046 = Jan 1986
The code on the rear tires was 166 = April 1986
