Default Corvette Barstool (Motorized)

Dropped by a friend's place today to leave with him the L-82 valve covers I recently refurbished. He is a bit of a mechanical wizard and likes to tinker. Thought Forum people might wish to see his 5hp Corvette barstool.

That one is cool.
Here is one (not mine) for folks that can't wait to 'go'.
Notice the cooler 'tank'.

That's the gas tank. This stool really motors down the road. Local Police are not sure what to do about helmet and seat belt laws.

And of course, license, emissions, insurance, plates, noise violations. Sometimes people just wanna have fun.

What are the 1/4 mile times and speeds on those? I mean, the one with the corvette stool HAS to be faster than the toilet!

That pink toilet looks pretty classy but is probably all show and no go. My friend's rig features a 5hp Honda motor souped up with a racing cam, free-flow headers, one-inch chambered exhaust, and a re-worked carb (not Lars but very good). Note the wide racing slicks on the back. They're a little worn from some burn-outs. It's a 1/32 mile champion.

I couldn't resist, besides it's the only barstool racer picture I have. It's a photochop done by a friend of mine that is very good at such things.

Your friend's racer is really and I bet lots of fun.

He will be building an "official" version for our Corvette Club this winter. It's amazing what talent you can find in your local Club.

I've been wondering about building a trike... use a barstool as the seat!

I think one of those things would be a hoot...
