I saw pics of a beutiful blue interior that had white faced gauges. The center guages looked aftermarket, but the speedo and tach looked absolutely factory, but were white faced. I am giving serious consideration to doing this to my 68 because it looked way cool. Is this something totally 1 off custom, or maybe the gauges are the same as some other GM cars but were white faced in other models.
I got the Autometer Cobalt tach-------not in the standard gauge position---------on the center column, but I love the look. They are not white face, but at night they look better than the White face w/ orange in my 2001 toyota.
What's the big attraction to white-faced gauges? Personally, I don't think they look all that hot. Granted, they ARE different than stock, but I don't understand why others think they are the stuff.
Close, but I am referring to a factory corvette dash/tach with a white face. it had the odometer, tripometer, turn signal indicators, high beam indicator, etc.

wow, thats nice. I wonder who repainted the faces. For the autometer gauges, carbon fiber is my favorite I like the needle. The orange needles all the other guages just dont do it for me.
