Default Wheel torque ?

Just got my tires and rims back from being mounted. There is no way I was letting them hammer them on with a gun. I am running the TTIIs. What should Itorque the nuts to. I thought I read 70-90 ft/lbs but wanted to check.

That's what I would go with. The stock steel wheels are 75 ft/lbs and I use 80-85 with my aluminum rims.
What size are your TTII's? I'd like to put a set on my '69. Would you post a photo when they're mounted?

I'll post photos tomorrow when I put them on. Just put a front on to see if it rubs. It looks good so far no rubbing.
Wheels are TTIIs 17 X 8
Tires are 255 45 17s

I do 70 ft/lbs, but they've been tighter...maybe 80 or so. 70 is fine. What 255/45 tire did you decide on?

I wouldn't go 90 with 7/16 studs, I use 85 with my 1/2 inch studs.
I have stripped stock nuts on the 7/16th studs with 85.

Thanks guys. I'll stick around 70-75. With the old stell rallys I just buzzed them with the air gun. Not with these wheels
