Default Steering column lower bearing

I know the lower bearing is trashed on this column. How do I get the plastic thing off the column so I can replace the bearing. And where does one get the bearing and two springs?
Thanks,

I looked at the on-line store and Zip shows the lower steering column parts but I don't see a breakdown as to each part on their sight. So I looked them up in my 2003 Zip catalogue.

All steering columns 1969 thru 1982 (whether standard [non-adjustable] or the T&T) use the same lower end parts. The standard columns had one additional part - a spring. All parts except the spring are available through GM dealers as well as Zip.

Here is a listing of the parts for all columns :
Column Lower Bearing GM #7805700; Zip SC-442
Column Lower Bearing Adapter (plastic) GM #7805822; Zip SC-452
Column Lower Bearing Shield Wire Clip GM #7804439; Zip SC-453
Column Lower Bearing Shield GM #7804440; Zip SC-454

Standard Column 1969-1979
Column Lower Bearing Spring Zip SC-463

As of their last catalogue the parts are all available.
