Default Brian's Vette (BIG pics)

I forget what year it is, probably a 66 or something but it's a C2.
It's a big block with some stuff sticking out of the hood.
17" Intro rims, mono-leaf front and rear springs. Still needs paint
to be cherry. Sorry the pics are so big, I blame the system.

I think I am only seeing 4 hold down bolts for the valve cover?? That makes it a small block, not a big block and if you have something sticking through the hood why not a blower that makes some real power?????

Some people fear the unknown. Clearly cost of adding a blower wouldn't really be an issue. Perhaps he wants to be more for show. I know I wouldn't want to be going through some twisties with a view obstruction like that. I think a blower would be lower.

The point is it a bigblock or small block. 4 bolts in the vavle cover is small block. A big block has 7 bolts.

I dont like that at all. My 66 is stock and looks way better. Im not saying it looks like crap or anything but i think those cars should be kept stock. My car i bought for 10k in 88 and now its worth like 60k if he would of kept it stock it whoulda been a rich man.

I agree with Norval, and am not impressed with 'something' sticking out of the hood unless it's going to substantially increase the power of the vehicle.

Hey, it's a Vette and it is still pretty cool looking. I like it.

I like it too but I hate when people try to pass a small block off for a big block. Guys tried that once on me and I let it go knowing it was a small block all the time. Bugs me that I didn't call them on it.
Anyway it is a really nice vet but I feel tunnel rams are just for show and if I have something sticking through the hood it has got to be worth it.
