Whats a "J" engine code
I was following the VIN thread and so I looked up the old vin on my ride and where the engine code shouldda been [K,T,X orW} it is J, can't seem to find it. Maby it came with a Jet engine?..... 
or no , wait I got it it came with a Jaguar engine......
or no , wait I got it it came with a Jaguar engine......

Why don't they list it at the VIN site then? 73 Vet History Or am I just blind, ok I know I'm blind but I got glass'.

You know, some where in the back of my feeble mind I knew the "J" thing but when I went to that site and it wasn't listed it just completely blew out of my head.........Arrrgggg!

In 1972 engine code CDJ was 350, auto w/ California emissions controls. The codes for 73 were different and there's no J code. Maybe yours was a late 72, titled as a 73??? I've had that with a Volvo and an MG that I've owned.
