a 1972 convertible war bonnet yellow with tan interior base 350 engine automatic. I don't have a digital camera by my brother does so I will try and borrow it for some pictures soon. I gave 19,000 for it and it has been on body restored with new paint, top, seats etc de done. Frame and birdcage has no rust really solid car. Not the color I wanted but actually plan to have it painted black before it's over with thanks to seeing pictures of eddies 70 . I've decided even though it is a number matching car that I am going to drive the wheels off of it and enjoy it. I plan to mod the engine some because 200hp is just wrong to be in a corvette. I might also to a 4-6sp transmission swap later down the road since I perfer manual because people I have showed it to have already said "a automatic corvette" you auto guys know how that is.
thought I would update you since you helped on the other threads on the cars I was looking at.
Thanks for all the nice replies. I love this car already! and thanks to you all I knew what to look for and decoded it pretty good well I checked the main things motor, trans and rear but didn't bother with the little things. The color is OK but I'm looking for excuses to paint it black after seeing a black one in person and eddies i love them in black! and about the auto I myself don't see anything wrong with a automatic corvette it makes for a great cruiser which is what I bought it for but I do itch to change my own gears in it so I made change it over down the road.
I will get some pictures up when I get the chance (brother lives a little over ah hour away)
