Hi all, the birdcage on my 72 is trashed so i decided to just bit the bullet and buy a rear clip. so happens found one from a 73 and bought it. i was sitting here reading posts and realized i dont think there was a wiper door on 73. can i still use the 72 front clip? john

Your post has me confused you have a bad birdcage on your 72 but you bought a rear clip from a 73 and wonder if the wipers will work.......Ok I think you might have meant you bought a new FRONT clip from a 73. If that is the case No the 73 has no wiper door and is very different than your 72 . Well just clear up what your problem is and someone will help

I think you can use a 73 cowl back body with a 72 front clip. You may have to do some mods to the top of the firewall to fit the wiper door hardware.

sorry for the cofusion. i just bought a 73 rear clip from firwall back and want to put my 72 front clip on it but did not think about the 73 not having a wiper door. can i still use the 72 front clip. what do i need to do to make it work? hope this helps
