cute? I was waiting at a light on Saturday and a lady (about in her mid 50s) in the car to my left rolls her window down and says "Your car is cute". Now, don't me wrong, I always appreciate a compliment but I have owned this car for over 20 years and I have never had my chrome bumper 427 spitting raw fuel out of the tailpipes, rattle the windows Corvette called cute. Neat, yes. Cool, yes. Nice, yes (even though it needs some work). But cute, never.
"look at that POS, it has a gray primer hood and the paint is scratched, what a disgrace"....from a fellow corvette owner at a meeting (he didn't know it was my car)
At a show once I was parked next to an all original 12,000 mile L-88 coupe...baddest car there. A guy was trying to explain to his SO what it was and she responded to him while pointing at mine..."but that one is pretty".

1:"Whoa, check out that Ferrari."
2:"Hahaha, that's not a Ferrari, that's a Mustang!"
Steve: "You mean that black fastback? That's my 'vette, dude."
2: "Oh sweet... 69, right?"
