Steering Question??
I just got a 1980 L-82 this past week and I took it for a drive Saturday, this is my first Vette. This is my question. When driving and I hit a bump the steering wheel has some play in it.. I have to be very concious of it. The front suspension has been redone by previous owner. What can be done to make it a tighter steering? I hope I have explained this correctly.

Have a look at all the steering components to see if anything is worn, thus causing play. Also look at the steering box, perhaps the gear lash could be adjusted a little tighter. If all that checks out you should have the alignment set to these specs http://www.vbandp.com/instructions/h...ruct/align.htm
