I have just joined the forum. I am in the proces of doing an 80 Frame off redo. I say redo as it will not be a restoration,it will be the way GM should have built it.The body will be stock, the interior will be an Al Knoch all leather(already purchased). I bought a crate engine from GM. Its some type of GM mistake. The engine is a 350 4 bolt with steel vortech heads and it has the ram jet roller cam. The engine will have a LOT OF CHROME AND BILLET. The car was orig auto, but have located a complete T-10 setup. The frame was shot blasted, all susp pieces were blasted, edge ground, primed and painted, its now back to "rolling". Hope you all have a nice holiday.

My son has a 85 monte with that 200r4, that is the same trans as was used in the Buick Grand Nat'l. If you find the right guy he can do an excellent high performance rebuild. Don't give up!
Glad to have you here. You have quite a project going but it sounds like you've made a lot of progress already. We look forward to seeing it completed. You already have experience that can help others here so don't be shy about answering questions. That's what makes this forum great.
