reruns of american hot rod on TLC right now. Boyd and Blue Bear are in a pissing contest. this must be the episode where BlueBear gets canned. i wonder why they think this is good for their business. every episode looks like a another episode of the Keystone Cops. lol. wonder how many forum members remember them. suffice to say, they all look like a bunch of monkeys f**king a football. don't see why they want the whole world to see this. rumor is Body got shutdown by the Feds. anyone know anything about that?

I hardly ever watch that show but for some reason caught it tonight. They all seem to be at each other the whole show. Is it always that way? And yeah this was the episode that Bluebear got canned on.
I don't know if anyone else has caught this, but when they show shots of the shop, there is a Mid-year Corvette in there undergoing work. I hope that this makes it into their future episodes (just so we can see if the bastardize it).
Now that Blue Bear has been fired from Boyd's, someone should have
his car stolen by 'Overhaulin' and restored it. And of course 'box the frame rails!'. For the first prank they could say that Boyd repossessed Blue Bears car.
Yes, Boyd was shutdown about 2 months ago, maybe his back up now, I don't know. He was charged with tagging cars. I don't know all the facts, but it goes like this. He builds a NEW '34 roadster worth $100k+, and tags it as a OLD '34 worth $500...
I saw the episode last might also ---- I am in agreement, there is no way I would have them even look at my car . I now!! would not even buy a set of Coddington rims !!! I don't care how good they look .
. I believe they are a major disgrace to car builders and to spike tv.
I think that quite a bit of the controversy was staged to compete with American Chopper, unsuccessfully, I think. I do know one thing, one of them would treat me the way that I've seen on that show ONCE, if he lived to regret it, he wouldn't do it again. Some I wouldn't let near my kids bicycle-I was a better mechanic at 16.
I enjoy the show. You have to remember they edit alot of material out. Bluebear was a azz and I would have fired him a long time ago. Charlie is now with Chip Foose.
