I rolled the chassis outside into the driveway today and into the sun for the first time in many moons . I have the GF's camera so I took some pictures to document this momentous occasion
I still need to run a fuel return line before I am ready to drop the body back on, hope to finish that next month.
BTW: That brown rock in my yard is called 'grass' here in Tucson, AZ
I have an original 81 4 speed with a slight frame bend on the right front. I am planning to do a frame off as well. Pix like these are certainly an inspiration. That is also a helluva lot of time spent .
WOW...great color combo between the suspension & frame. Great looking work. What brand of frame paint is that?
BTW: I'd rather have your brown grass in December than my "white grass". If I pushed my car into the driveway it would freeze in it's tracks. (Burrrrrr)

great job, I should have taken my body off the frame....
At least you don't have to mow your lawn every week, that gives you some more time to spend in the garage
I always liked the AZ front yards, my wife disagrees and says it would look stupid here in FL....

Nice work.
That is one nice chassis! Looks good enough to be a show car without the body on.
If it makes u feel better my car has been down for 4 yrs now and i only had a broken fan & cowling. At least thats where i started. And i can see where some bad old parts and Bubba fixes just won't do. I'd rather let it sit until i can fix it right than try to drive a car that i know will fail/break soon.
But man u really did some fine work.
Congrats. cardo0
