Can you use a pressure washer on a vette? This is the first fiberglass car I've owned and was thinking about using my 2200 PSI pressure washer to clean up the wheel wells and undercarriage. Any ideas?

Check your battery box. Make sure that the grommets where the cables exit at are still good. If not, watch out when you direct high pressure water towards the batt. box. You might inadvertanly end up shampooing your carpets!

Of course, anytime you use high pressure, you want to make sure you re-grease anything that might need it under the car. U-joints, etc.

depending on the condition of the guards inside your front wheels (the ones covering the upper arms) it's possible for you to get the inside of the engine compartment wet. Watch your carb and electrical connections.

When you are finished, thouroughly check the inside of the car to find any place where water made it through and got the carpet wet. If it did, dry it out thouroughly and try to figure out where it came from.
