#2 body mount ?

#2 body mount ?
Starting from the front on my 1980 vette I cannot find the #2 body mount. I have the car on jack stands and I thought I would put some penetrating oil on all the mounts. Cannot seem to find those #2 mounts. Any advise or am I missing something . Thanx Brent

You get to them from inside the car, remove the plastic panels in front of the doors.

I was able to get at the one through the black plastic louver in front of the door. I thought that from the aim that I there should be a mount between the one in the black plastic louver and the one in the rear wheel well that I took the little metal cover off of. My aim shows it about midpoint of the door. Thanx Brent

and here's the overview:
Number1 is at the firewall, accessible from under the car. Number 2 is right where your (or your passenger's) feet are. Number 3 is behind the metal plates in front of the rear wheels. Number 4 is behind the rear wheels.

Thanks for the reply. I have that same diagram in my assembly instruction manual . I guess I will have to look a little harder or get my wife to find it . lol Thanx Brent Upon looking at the diagram a little more closely and comments , do you have to pull the interior carpeting back to get at it.

You have to pull the carpet back to access #4 - this silly square plate (retainer nut) will most likely brake off because it's only spot-welded....
