IN a different thread someone was talking about big block cubes in small block motors. I know the block are built specifically for the purpose, but I wonder how well they will hold up? Has anybody put some miles on a "motown" motor?

yeah, the full crate motor was a little under 10,000! I wonder how well they would hold up?
That looks like a little better deal. What exactly is a nitrided crank (I'm still learning) something between casted and forged?

good, then after I'm rolling in the big dough from teaching high school music, I'll have the funds to sink 10,000 in a motor! I'm sure the future wife would love that...Try pulling that one off..."Hun, just think of it as an investment" OUch.
