I cut mine in an x shape then folded each piece in and bent and twisted till each came off. Then took a punch and tapped out the sleeve. Not hard. Takes 5 minutes. The rubber just slid out of mine with no problems.

Once the bolt is cut, the rubber bushing is removed you can cut the sleeve to weaken it, then bend it and remove it... don't be afraid of cutting, the old pieces are being replaced anyway...

I just added 14 photos of my trailing arm bushing installation to my gallery... I have more if needed...

I took a 4" grinder and ground down the washer far enough and the washer came off. I then drilled the rubber bushing several dozen times to release the pressure. The bushing and sleeve were then tapped out.

The rubber portion and tube sleeve are all out. Just the outer portion of the bushing remains. Thought there was a trick to it....but it looks like good 'ol fashion cutting & grinding is what's needed. Thanks for the replies fellas.
