Doh!
just a funny story for everyone to enjoy on this new year. when i got my 78', it had the aftermarket front spoiler on it. cheap fiberglass, with a few cracks from going up car ramps in the driveway. having just installed a new valance panel ( behind the spoiler ), and putting all new hardware in mentioned spoiler, i go for a drive. feeling festive becuase of my new parts installed, i go a LITTLE over the posted limit. at which time my cracked spoiler decides to wave bye-bye to me and the car. at first i thought damn, i busted a half shaft! looking in the mirror for parts and pedestrians, i see a red ufo trailing my car at about 40 feet. talk about embarssing, pulling over to pick up my parts from the road. MID-AMERICA loves me everytime i call.

Only embarrassing for a little while. I was pulling onto my street one day and the front marker light lens decides to fall out. I just happened to be waving at my neighbor washing his car. I pull in my drive and my neighbor is walking toward me with the lens. Embarrassing, :o
