Default Turn signals not working..Why????

Now that my state inspection is due, my turn signals won't work. All my bulbs are good, and they light up brightly when I put the signal on, but they don't do the "on an off" thingy. I've checked and rechecked the bulbs and all is good. They worked about a month ago when I put her in the garage and I've never had this problem. Could it be the "switch" in the steering column? (and if so, how hard to change??) Any suggestions?

Probably nothing more than the flasher.

There is also a flasher behind the map pocket on the passenger side. Might chech that as well. Good Luck.

My '72 did the same thing but just on one side. Turned out that the signal housing needed to be grounded better. If both side at once on yours, probably flasher.

THat would be so cool if it was the "flasher"!!! I did find one of the springs from the "turn signal cam" thingy that had fallen loose and was just laying in the column. replaced it. Now I'll check the flasher!! Cross your fingers!
