I just put the converter on top of the flexplate and the holes on the flexplate that line up with the converter are a little bigger than the bolt width (by 1/10 inch).. Is it supposed to be like that??
The holes in the flexplate are a bit bigger than the TC bolts. I don't know exactly how much, but the TC bolts typically have big heads, I wouldn't worry about it.

we had no problem with putting the TC bolts through the flexplate and lining them up....so i would suspect that we had holes that were slightly larger also...funny thing was all of the flexplate bolts from the speed shop were too short for my satisfaction....they only had about 1/8 bite into the TC threaded mounts.... i purchased grade 8 bolts that used up all the "thread space" from Lowes
