Default Does anybody know what this cutout is?

Does anybody know what this cutout is? The cut out is at the top of these pannels. Follow the link to see a picture. It is a rear inner quarter panel for a 75. Is it a seatbelt hole? I Thought the shoulder harness came form the top of the wheel well.

thanks
Scott

the quarter trim hides the retractor for the sholder belt, the seat belt comes from under the seat where the retractor is hidden under a plastic cover

The retractor for the shoulder strap is in a enclosure located at the bottom of the quarters. The strap then feeds upwards through a D ring that is secured through those holes you see in Eckler's photo.

The D-rings are actually part of the seat belt assembly. Your best bet is find someone parting out a car with the same interior color you have and try to get the seat belts. These things are hard to come by and are quite expensive for new ones. Watch the parts for sale section here, e-bay, and any local swap meets there are in your area.
